Abstract: The handbook, acting as a guide, is intended at assisting library professionals and library and information science students to identify reference sources in Science and Technology. It also seeks to help scientists and technologists to gain access to scientific and technological information relevant to their work. It lists information sources pertinent to scientists and technologists, and these comprise bibliographies, biographical literature, conference proceedings, dictionaries, directories, electronic resources, encyclopedias, handbooks and tables, indexes, patents. periodicals, research reports, reviews, standards, thesaurus, theses and dissertations, translations and yearbooks. Each information source is described and its importance is discussed. Examples are also provided to support the sources cited. Since, the handbook acts as a guide to the literature in Science and Technology; and as a quick reference material, intended to aid scientists and technologists to find various information sources readily available for them. The authors trust that it would provide knowledge in sources of information in Science and Technology and also assist librarians, as well as scientists and technologists to find useful materials in their areas of study
